Den moderna inredningsstilen påminner till viss del om den Skandinaviska inredningsstilen. Båda är minimalistiska i sitt uttryck och håller sig till funktionella möbler i svart, vitt och naturens färger.

Lite historia

Den moderna inredningsstilen skapades troligen för hundra år sedan, det är troligen människorna som skapade Bauhaus School of Design i Tyskland som ligger bakom stilen. Bauhaus filosofi handlar om möbler och inredning bör ha en kombination av form och funktion. Modern inredning handlar alltså inte om vad som är på modet just nu, utan det handlar om den specifika stilrena stilen som kallas modern.

Man tror att den moderna stilen är inspirerad av japansk inredningsstil som domineras av form och funktion. Tanken är att en möbel ska vara både funktionell och samtidigt förhöja rummets intryck.

Rena linjer

Om man vill inreda modernt ska man hålla sig till design som har rena linjer, funktionen är viktigare än utseendet, var sparsam på tillbehör och dekorationer, skapa gärna en asymmetrisk balans i rummet och använd i största möjliga mån material som har en slät yta.

Motsatsen till modern inredning är den traditionella inredningen. I miljöer med traditionell inredning möter man ofta antika möbler med snirkliga mönster och utsmyckningar med många olika detaljer.

Sov gott i ett modernt inrett sovrum

Den moderna inredningsstilen passar väldigt bra i sovrummet. Där inne är det viktigt att kunna sova bra och då passar den rena avskalade stilen väldigt väl.

I sovrummet bör man ha så lite onödiga prylar som möjligt. Det som ska finnas där är en skön säng, anpassad belysning och möjligen en garderob. Tänk även på att ha så få elektriska apparater som möjligt i sovrummet. Sätt inte upp en tv på väggen och ta inte med dig mobilen till sängbordet utan satsa på en traditionell väckarklocka.

Strukturerad men inte tråkig

Ordning och reda är A och O i den moderna stilen. Det förekommer ofta smarta och samtidigt snygga förvaringslösningar. Dessutom kan möblerna ofta kombineras med varandra för att lösa olika behov, ett stort bord kan tillexempel vara uppbyggd av flera små bord, som kan sättas ihop eller tas isär för att fylla bäst funktion just nu.

Vissa människor kan uppfatta den moderna stilen som kall och opersonlig, men när man väl testat den stilen kanske man ändrar uppfattning. Då kanske man istället uppfattar stilen som lugn, praktisk och harmonisk.

Passar den lilla lägenheten

Den moderna stilen med sitt minimalistiska tänk passar bra i små lägenheter, eftersom rummen ger ett intryck att vara större och rymligare än vad de är. Den är populär över hela världen och passar de flesta människorna. Eftersom stilen är väldigt populär är det enkelt att hitta möbler och inredning i olika prisklasser.

Ta naturen till hjälp

En gren som växt fram ur den moderna inredningsstilen är “Modern organisk inredning”. Då plockar man in det som naturen har att erbjuda. En vacker och stark gren kan bli hållare till ett antal lampor. För att anamma det organiska fullt ut ska det mesta i ens hem vara tillverkat av naturmaterial, så välj bort plast så ofta det är möjligt. Ta istället in trä, läder, sten och keramik.
